Page Vault Browser Stuck on “Connecting” (Chrome & Edge)

If you're stuck on “Connecting,” this known issue affects some Chrome and Edge users—use Firefox as a workaround.

Summary

Since March 11, 2026 (or earlier), a small number of users have experienced connectivity issues when using the Page Vault Browser on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers such as Edge.

Impacted users may be unable to successfully establish a connection to the Page Vault Browser. This issue is not widespread and only affects a limited subset of users.


Workaround

If you are experiencing this issue, we recommend switching to Firefox to access the Page Vault Browser. Firefox is fully supported and is not impacted.

What’s Being Done

The root cause has been identified as an upstream issue related to AWS infrastructure. Our team is actively working with AWS engineering to investigate and resolve the problem.

Because this is an infrastructure-level issue, the timeline for resolution depends on AWS’s ongoing investigation.


Who Is Affected

This issue impacts only a small minority of users accessing the Page Vault Browser through Chrome or Edge extensions.

If you are able to connect without issues using Chrome or Edge, no action is required.
