How to Prevent The Web Page from Resizing

Disable "Standard Width" to stop automatic resizing and preserve original page layout

When capturing web content with Page Vault, you may notice a blue border appearing around the page and the content being resized. This typically occurs when the “Standard Width” feature is enabled in your browser’s Advanced Settings. While this feature can help standardize page width across captures, it may unintentionally zoom in or shift elements on the page—particularly images or layout components.

To disable page resizing:

  1. Open your browser’s Advanced Settings.

  2. Locate the setting labeled “Standard Width.”

  3. Deselect (uncheck) this option.

Disabling "Standard Width" ensures that the webpage maintains its natural layout during capture, reducing the chance of content being distorted or shifted.

Additional tip:

If turning off the "Standard Width" setting doesn’t fully resolve the issue, try using single-screen captures instead. These captures are less likely to trigger any resizing behavior and provide more control over the visual accuracy of your capture.

By adjusting this setting or using single-screen captures, you can ensure your results closely match the original webpage.
