How to Generate a Load File

Accessing eDiscovery-Ready Load Files from Your Captures

When exporting multiple captures from the Page Vault Portal, a load file is automatically included in your download package. This file is formatted for easy import into your eDiscovery platform.

Here’s how to export captures and get the load file:

1. Open the Folder

  • From the Folder Summary View, click on the folder that contains your captures.

  • You’ll see a thumbnail and summary of each capture.

2. Select the Captures

You have two ways to select which captures to export:

  • Individual Captures: Use the checkboxes next to individual capture previews and click "Export Selected Items."

  • Entire Folder: Use the “Export Folder” button to export every capture in the folder.

3. Export the Files

  • In the pop-up window, choose “Zip” as the export format.

  • Confirm the recipient email address (or enter a different one if needed).

  • Click “Request Download.” You’ll receive an email confirming that the request was submitted.

4. Access the Load File

Once the export is ready, you’ll receive a second email with a download link. You can also download the .zip file directly from the Portal:

  • Look for a red bell icon in the top menu bar—this indicates your download is ready.

  • Click the bell to access notifications and download the file.

The downloaded .zip file will include:

  • The load file for your eDiscovery platform

  • A summary file listing all captures

  • A .csv metadata file for each capture

The load file makes it easy to import Page Vault captures into your review platform.
