How to Fix a Frozen Browser Session

Follow these steps to safely end a frozen session and resume capturing

If your Page Vault browser becomes unresponsive or frozen during a session, follow the steps below to reset the browser and continue capturing:

  1. Click the “Profile” icon
    Locate the “Profile” icon at the top of your Page Vault browser window. This icon gives you access to session controls.

  2. Click “End Session”
    In the dropdown menu that appears, select “End Session.” This will terminate your current browser session and clear the frozen state.

  3. Wait 2–5 minutes
    Allow 2 to 5 minutes for the session to fully close in the background before initiating a new capture. This ensures the browser resets completely and avoids further freezing.

  4. Start a new session
    After waiting, click the “Capture” button to begin a new session. The browser should now respond normally.
