How to Capture TikTok Slideshow Posts
How to capture audio and images from TikTok slideshow posts
TikTok slideshow posts are different from standard TikTok videos. TikTok classifies them as audio with pictures rather than as videos. Because of this, two separate captures are required: one for the audio and one for the images.
Step 1: Capture the Audio
To extract the audio URL, you’ll need the free Chrome extension Video Download Helper.
-
Install the Video Download Helper extension.
-
Open the TikTok slideshow post and ensure it is playing.
-
Click on the Video Download Helper icon in your browser extensions.
-
A dropdown menu will appear. Choose the option to copy the audio URL.
-
Enter this URL into the Videos section of Batch
-
This process will produce an audio-only file of the TikTok slideshow post.
Step 2: Capture the Images
To capture the slideshow’s images, you’ll need to take single-screen captures of each slide.
-
Pause the TikTok slideshow.
-
In Page Vault, set your Capture type to Single-screen or use the shortcut Ctrl + U.
-
A screenshot of the current slide will be taken.
-
Scroll to the next image in the slideshow and repeat the process until all images are captured.
Step 3: Export the Captures
Once all audio and images have been captured:
-
Export your folder.
-
If preferred, you can merge all image captures into a single PDF during export for easier review.
