How to Capture TikTok Posts

Capturing TikTok posts preserves videos, captions, comments, and engagement metrics.

Steps to Capture Individual TikTok Posts

1. Open the Page Vault Browser.

2. Type or paste the TikTok post URL into the address bar and press Enter.

3. Log in to TikTok to access all content and comments.

4. Click Expand to open capture settings.

5. Choose from the available settings:

   • Format post and expand comments (open in new browser tab) – Expands all comments and formats the post to fit on a PDF.

   • Format post (open in new browser tab) – Formats the post for PDF but does not expand comments.

   • Capture a list of posts (URLs) – Allows batch capture of specific TikTok post URLs.

   • Capture after expanding and save to folder – Saves the captured post to your chosen folder.

1. Select the folder where you’d like to save the capture. You can also rename the capture, add a case matter ID, or include notes.

2. Click Expand and Capture to start.

Steps to Capture a List of Posts

1. In your Portal, click Use Browser to launch the Page Vault Browser.

2. Navigate to TikTok (log in if needed).

3. Click the red Expand button.

4. Select Capture a list of post URLs and paste in your list.

5. Click OK and start your capture.
