How to Capture Facebook Album Posts

Capturing Facebook album posts one image at a time

When capturing a Facebook post that contains multiple photos (also known as an album post), each image must be captured individually. This ensures accuracy, but does require a few extra steps.

Step 1: Open Each Image

  1. Click on the thumbnail or the “+4” (or similar) icon that indicates additional photos.

  2. Use the arrows to navigate through each photo in the post.

Step 2: Copy Image URLs

  1. For each photo, copy the unique URL from your browser’s address bar.

  2. Paste these URLs into a document or spreadsheet (Excel works well) to keep them organized.

  3. Continue until you’ve saved the URL for every photo in the post.

Step 3: Use Capture Mode

  1. Open the Capture Mode tool.

  2. Select the Standard capture type.

  3. Choose Bulk Capture a List of URLs.

  4. Paste the full list of photo URLs you created earlier.

  5. Confirm the number of URLs in the queue, then select your destination folder.

  6. Click Expand and Capture to save each image as a PDF.

Notes

  • Each photo will be saved as a separate PDF with comments.

  • If needed, you can manually merge the individual PDFs into a single file during export.
