How to Capture a Specific Timeframe - X/Twitter

Use X’s Advanced Search to filter by dates, keywords, or users

X (Twitter) does not allow you to filter posts directly on a user’s timeline. Instead, you can use the Advanced Search feature to capture posts within a specific timeframe.

Steps to capture posts within a timeframe

  1. In the top-right corner of X, type the profile name into the search bar (an exact match is not required).

  2. On the results page, go to the top-right corner and click Advanced search.

  3. In the pop-up window, set your filters. You can filter by:

    • Date range

    • Keywords or phrases

    • Specific users

  4. Click Search to apply filters.

  5. Once results appear, use Page Vault’s Scroll function to load content.

  6. After scrolling is complete, click Capture to save results to your selected Portal folder.
