How to Capture a Specific Timeframe - Instagram

Capture Instagram posts from a chosen date range using scrapes and targeted URL lists.

When capturing Instagram content, you may only need posts from a specific timeframe instead of the full profile. Page Vault makes this possible by generating a scrape of post URLs that you can filter down to the exact start and end points. This ensures you only capture the posts that matter for your case or project.

  1. Navigate to the Instagram profile in your Page Vault Browser.

  2. Click the red Expand button.

  3. Select Get post URLs and email to.

  4. Click Expand!

    • The tool will scan the profile and automatically email you a scrape (CSV file with post URLs).

  5. On the Instagram profile, open the post where you want the capture to start and copy its URL.

  6. In the emailed scrape (CSV), use CTRL+F to find that start-post URL.

  7. Repeat steps 5–6 for the post where you want the capture to end.

  8. In the CSV, copy the block of URLs starting from your chosen start post through your end post.

  9. Return to the profile and click the red Expand button.

  10. Select Capture a list of posts (URLs) and click the blue box.

  11. Paste your URLs, click OK, then Expand and Capture!
