Managing Cookies for Page Vault Captures
How to copy cookies using the Page Vault Browser or CopyCookies extension
Capturing sites that require a login or want to prevent pop-ups? You can copy cookies from your own browser or from within the Page Vault Browser and use them in Page Vault’s Batch or Site Crawler tools. This helps ensure successful authenticated captures.
Option 1: Copy Cookies from the Page Vault Browser
💡These steps follow the redesigned Page Vault Browser. Legacy screens may look a little different, but the workflow is the same! (The legacy browser retires July 15, 2026.)

Open the Page Vault Browser.

Navigate to the site and log in/close pop-ups

Once logged in, click the Gear Icon in the bottom left

Click Copy Cookies to copy the session cookies.

Open the Batch or Site Crawler tool.

In the Site Cookies section, paste the copied cookies

Run your capture.
Option 2: Copy Cookies from the CopyCookies Extension (Google Chrome)
Note: The CopyCookies Chrome Extension is a Third Party Tool

Access the site in your Chrome browser.
- Close pop-ups or sign in as needed

Click the CopyCookies extension icon in your toolbar to copy the cookies

Open Page Vault’s Batch or Site Crawler tool.

In the Site Cookies section, paste the copied cookies

Run your capture.

Use only one set of cookies per capture

Ensure the copied cookies match the domain you plan to capture.
