How to Capture YouTube
Best Practices For Capturing YouTube Content
Page Vault makes it easy to capture YouTube content, whether you need just the video, the webpage with an embedded video, or all videos from a channel. Follow the steps below based on your capture needs.
Capturing Video Only
Use this option when you only need the video file.
-
Navigate to the YouTube video(s) you need.
-
Copy the full URL from your browser’s address bar.
-
Log in to your Page Vault Portal.
-
Go to the Batch Tool and select the Video job type.
-
Paste the copied YouTube video URL(s) into the input field.
-
You can paste multiple URLs at once (one per line) if capturing several videos.
-
-
View the completed captures in your Portal.

Use this option to capture both a PDF of the YouTube page and the video file.
-
