How to Capture TikTok Slideshow Posts

How to capture audio and images from TikTok slideshow posts

TikTok slideshow posts are different from standard TikTok videos. TikTok classifies them as audio with pictures rather than as a single video file, which makes them tricky to capture with the standard video tools. The easiest way to preserve a TikTok slideshow is to use SnapTik (a free third-party service) to render the slideshow as a single video, then capture the rendered video through the Batch tool in your Portal.

Step 1: Render the Slideshow as a Video with SnapTik

  1. Go to https://snaptik.app/en2.
  2. Paste the TikTok slideshow post URL into the input field and click Download.
  3. Select Render Video. SnapTik will combine the slideshow's images and audio into a single video file.
  4. Once the render completes, right-click the Download Video button and copy the link address.

Step 2: Capture the Rendered Video with Batch

  1. In your Page Vault Portal, open the Batch tool.
  2. Select Video as the job type.
  3. Paste the SnapTik download URL into the URL list.
  4. Choose your destination folder, name the job, and add a Case Matter ID if needed.
  5. Start the batch job.

Page Vault will capture the rendered video as an MP4 file in your selected folder, preserving both the images and the audio of the slideshow in a single playable file.

Optional: Capture the Post Page for Context

If you also want a PDF of the original TikTok post — including captions, comments, and metadata — open the post URL in the Page Vault Browser and click Capture Page in the sidebar. Leave the Capture type set to TikTok post capture (Expands comments and replies), select your destination folder, and click Start. The PDF capture can live alongside the MP4 in the same folder for a complete record of the slideshow.
