How to Capture Social Media Videos

Use Batch to Capture Videos Across Platforms

The Batch tool supports two separate workflows depending on your objective:

  • Option 1: Video Only – Capture standalone video files across supported platforms.

  • Option 2: Video + PDF (Facebook & Instagram only) – Capture the post as a PDF with expanded comments and optionally download embedded videos in the same job.

Option 1: Video Only

Best for: High-volume video capture across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.) when you only need the video files.

Step 1: Open Batch in the Portal

  1. Log in to your Portal at portal.page-vault.com.

  2. Click the blue Batch button at the top of your screen.

Step 2: Create a New Batch Video Job

  1. On the New Batch Job page, click the Video button.

  2. Select the folder where you would like to save the captures.

  3. Enter a Job Name.

    • We recommend using a unique name for each job.

    • All captures from that job will be saved in a sub-folder with the same name.

  4. (Optional) Enter a Case Matter ID if you would like to associate the job with a specific case.

Step 3: Gather URLs

  1. Copy the direct URL of each video you would like to capture.

  2. Ensure each URL includes http:// or https://.

  3. Paste each URL on its own line.

Limits:

  • You may submit up to 5,000 URLs per job.

  • You may run up to 10 jobs at a time.

  • URLs must be from the same domain
