Expand and capture posts, comments, and replies on LinkedIn

Page Vault offers two ways to capture LinkedIn posts, depending on whether you’re working with a single post or managing capture at scale:

  • The LinkedIn Post Expander for individual posts

  • The Batch Social Media tool for bulk post captures

Note: You must be signed into a LinkedIn account to view and capture content.

Option 1: Capture a Single LinkedIn Post Using the Expander

Best For

  • Capturing a single LinkedIn post

  • Fully expanding all comments and replies before capture

  • Hands-on review before saving content

How It Works

  1. Launch the Page Vault Browser.

  2. Navigate directly to the LinkedIn post URL.

  3. Sign in to LinkedIn when prompted.

  4. Click Capture Page in the sidebar to open the Capture panel.
  5. Open the Capture type dropdown and select LinkedIn. This option is purpose-built for LinkedIn posts and will automatically expand all comments and replies before capturing.
  6. Select your destination folder.

  7. Click Start Capture.

Once triggered, Page Vault automatically opens all collapsed comments and replies on the post.

Expander Limitations

  • Works only on individual post URLs

  • Does not support profiles, feeds, or multi-post pages

Option 2: Bulk Capture LinkedIn Posts Using the Batch Social Media Tool

This will be available in a new update releasing the week of 12/15!

When volume increases, the Batch Social Media tool is the faster, more scalable path.

Best For

  • Capturing multiple LinkedIn posts at once

  • List-based workflows using URLs

  • Reducing time spent navigating post-by-post

How It Works

  1. Open the Page Vault Portal.

  2. Navigate to Batch > Social Media.

  3. Select the Bulk URL Capture
  4. Select LinkedIn from the platform dropdown.

  5. Paste a list of LinkedIn post URLs.

  6. Select your destination folder.

  7. Start the batch job.
