How to Capture LinkedIn Activities
How to capture activity feeds on LinkedIn
LinkedIn Activities pages (Posts, Comments, Reactions, etc.) aren't supported by the dedicated LinkedIn capture type, which is purpose-built for individual posts. Activities pages must be captured using the standard webpage tools — scrolling the page to load content, manually expanding any collapsed sections, and then running a standard capture.
Note: You must be signed into a LinkedIn account to view and capture content.
Steps to Capture
- Open the Page Vault Browser and navigate to the Activities page for the LinkedIn user.
- Sign in to LinkedIn when prompted.
- In the sidebar, click Auto-scroll to load content. Page Vault will scroll the page from top to bottom and load all available activities.
- (Optional) Expand any collapsed content. Press Ctrl+F to open the in-page search, type "more", and step through each match to locate and click the expandable sections you want included in the capture.
- Click Capture Page in the sidebar to open the Capture panel.
- Open the Capture type dropdown and choose the option that fits what you want to preserve:
- Full page (Ctrl+K) — Captures everything currently loaded on the page.
- From top to here (Ctrl+G) — Captures from the top of the page down to the section you're currently viewing.
- From here to bottom — Captures from your current view down to the bottom of the loaded content.
- Select your destination folder and add a Capture name, Case matter ID, or Notes if needed.
- Click Capture.
- Repeat the process for each Activities tab (Posts, Comments, Reactions, etc.) you need to preserve.
Tip: For long Activities pages, manually expanding every "more" section before capturing is what differentiates a complete record from a partial one. Take your time on this step before clicking Capture page.
