How to Capture LinkedIn Activities

How to capture activity feeds on LinkedIn

Since Page Vault does not have a LinkedIn expander, Activities pages must be captured using the regular capture tools. This requires scrolling, searching, and manually expanding the content before capturing.

Note: You must be signed into a LinkedIn account to view and capture content.

  1. Navigate to the Activities page for the LinkedIn user.

  2. Click the red Expand button at the top of the browser

  3. Choose an option:
    1. Scroll Only: Loads the page's content without making a capture, best if wanting to expand the content
    2. Scroll and Capture: Loads the page's content and automatically captures without expanded content

  4. If expanding content: Press Ctrl+F and search for more to quickly locate expandable sections. Expand as needed.

  5. Once the page displays as desired, choose one of the following capture options:

    • Entire Page – captures all loaded activities.

    • Top to Active / Active to End – captures content from a specific point up or down the page.

  6. Repeat the process for each Activities tab as needed.

  7. Save the capture to your chosen folder with a matter ID and notes.
