How to Capture Likes on an Instagram Post

Best practices for capturing likes on Instagram posts

💡These steps follow the redesigned Page Vault Browser. Legacy screens may look a little different, but the workflow is the same! (The legacy browser retires July 15, 2026.)

How to Capture a List of Instagram Likes

  1. On the post, click the likes count to open the list in its own window.
  2. Scroll down within the list to load as many likes as possible.
  3. Click Capture Page in the sidebar to open the Capture panel.
  4. Open the Capture type dropdown and select Specific scroll box.
  5. Click Test next to each detected scroll box until the likes list highlights in the browser, then select the radio button for that scroll box.
  6. Check Advanced capture options and raise the PDF page overlap to a high value (around 40–50%) so no rows are cut off between PDF pages. The tooltip next to the field shows the pixel equivalent for reference.
  7. Select your destination folder, add a Capture name, Case matter ID, or Notes if needed.
  8. Click Capture.

Note: If some likes are missing from your capture, this is due to Instagram restrictions. To include all content, scroll within the likes window and take single-screen captures of the missing sections.
