How to Capture Likes on an Instagram Post
Best practices for capturing likes on Instagram posts
💡These steps follow the redesigned Page Vault Browser. Legacy screens may look a little different, but the workflow is the same! (The legacy browser retires July 15, 2026.)
How to Capture a List of Instagram Likes
- On the post, click the likes count to open the list in its own window.
- Scroll down within the list to load as many likes as possible.
- Click Capture Page in the sidebar to open the Capture panel.
- Open the Capture type dropdown and select Specific scroll box.
- Click Test next to each detected scroll box until the likes list highlights in the browser, then select the radio button for that scroll box.
- Check Advanced capture options and raise the PDF page overlap to a high value (around 40–50%) so no rows are cut off between PDF pages. The tooltip next to the field shows the pixel equivalent for reference.
- Select your destination folder, add a Capture name, Case matter ID, or Notes if needed.
- Click Capture.
Note: If some likes are missing from your capture, this is due to Instagram restrictions. To include all content, scroll within the likes window and take single-screen captures of the missing sections.
