How AI is used in Review

A clear look at what the AI does, how to spot it, and where your data goes.

Review uses AI to help you find and understand your captures, but it never changes the underlying evidence. AI surfaces, ranks, summarizes, and explains — you decide what matters, what to mark up, and what to produce.

Which features use AI

  • Natural-language and image content search
  • Per-capture and case-level summaries
  • Entity extraction (people, companies, places, dates, links)
  • Score Relevance ranking

Which features do not use AI

Your captures themselves, case organization, manual tags, annotations, and redactions all work without AI.

How to tell them apart

Anywhere Review shows AI-generated content, you'll see a small sparkle indicator next to it. Standard, non-AI data has no special marking. If you ever need to know whether something came from the model or directly from your capture, look for the sparkle.

Where your data goes

Review's AI runs inside Page Vault's own secured cloud environment (Amazon Bedrock). The AI only ever processes captures you explicitly send to Review — nothing in core Page Vault is analyzed unless you choose to send it.

Your content is not used to train any AI models, and your original captures are never altered by anything the AI does. If your firm needs more detail for a security review, ask your Page Vault contact for the "AI and Your Data at Page Vault" one-pager.
