Exporting From Review
Share your work as untouched originals or as annotated, redacted deliverables.
When you're ready to share your work, Review lets you export a single capture or all the captures in a case, in one of two modes.
Original captures
These are your unaltered captures, exactly as collected — the source of truth. A Page Vault affidavit is available on request for original captures.
Captures with annotations and redactions
These are derivative PDFs with your markup flattened in. Redacted content is permanently obscured and can't be viewed, recovered, or searched. Because these files include your own markup, an affidavit is not available for them.
A few things worth knowing
- You can always re-export the originals. Review stores your original captures and never alters them, so even after exporting an annotated version, you can come back and export the clean original — and request an affidavit for it — at any time.
- Exporting a single capture downloads it right away. Larger exports are prepared in the background, and you'll get a link when they're ready.
- One export applies a single mode to everything in it — you choose originals or annotated/redacted for the whole export, not a mix.
